A Yet Unnameable Dream Series
A Yet Unnameable Dream is a series of two-dimensional mixed media paintings on paper and wooden panels. The paintings merge acrylic, cut paper, powdered pigments and colored pencil to create uncanny worlds. The paintings hover between abstraction, symbolism and landscape. The paintings portray beings that seem at times aquatic, microscopic and mechanical in moments of interaction and conflict. The work aims to draw the viewer into a world that contains objects that we can only slightly relate to reality and can’t yet name.
